Record Sealing and Expungement
Eligibility for Expungement:
The following items may be sealed or expunged on criminal records:
1) arrests which did not lead to prosecution;
2) charges which have been dismissed;
3) charges which resulted in a not guilty verdict at trial;
4) charges which were dismissed after successful completion of a deferred sentence;
5) convictions for petty and municipal offenses;
6) convictions for some prostitution related offenses;
7) convictions for some drug related offenses; and
8) juvenile convictions.
Expungement Procedure:
